Athletes of the Week
Raven Scott
Women's Volleyball
Freshman right side hitter Raven Scott paced the Majors to a 2-1 weekend at the SCAC Tournament, as Millsaps wrapped up the season in 9th place in the standings. Scott was named the SCAC's Newcomer of the Year on Friday, becoming the first Major to ever earn the award, and proceeded to hit .243 with 25 kills, 19 digs and eight assists on the weekend. She averaged 1.92 kills-per-set and boasted a double-double against Sewanee in a 3-0 win. The weekly award from Millsaps is her second of the season.
Leslie Robichaux
Women's Soccer
In her final game at Millsaps on Sunday, senior midfielder Leslie Robichaux scored her team-leading 13th goal and added three assists – all in the first half – to help the Majors to a 5-0 victory over the University of Dallas. Robichaux just missed tying a single-season school record with her 13th goal (2nd in a single-season), while her five total points in the match gave her a total of 75 for her career (4th all-time) in just three seasons. The weekly award from Millsaps marks her school-best third this season.
