Junior Michael Galatas of the men's track and field team capped off an incredible season for the Majors being named SCAC Track and Field Athlete-of-the-Year for 2010. Galatas finished the SCAC Championships with two event titles (110m hurdles and 200m dash) while recording a second place finish in the 100m dash. Galatas was also an integral part of the 4x100 and 4x400 relays that placed second. For the meet, Galatas accumulated 32 team points to lead all participants and helped the Majors finish in fifth place at their inaugural SCAC Championships.

Senior Kasey Thibodeaux of the softball team finished her career in a Millsaps uniform with an impressive weekend at the 2010 SCAC Championships pitching three complete games and one shutout to lead the Majors to the championship game. Thibodeaux allowed only two earned runs in 20.2 innings of work for an ERA of 0.68 while recording 13 strikeouts. She held her opponent to a .179 batting average scattering 14 hits across the weekend.
