MT. BERRY, GA- The Millsaps Majors were unable to overcome an early first half deficit, falling 16-5 to the Berry Vikings at Ford Field in Mt. Berry, Georgia. 

Berry scored less than a minute into the game and four times in the game' s first five minutes on Sunday. All told, the Vikings led 8-0 at the end of the first quarter. Berry kept pouring it on in the second, scoring three more times before the Majors could answer. Hunter Stevison got his first of what would be three on the day to get Millsaps on the board. Simon Sherman scored with just two seconds left in the half as Berry led 11-2 at the break. 

Things slowed down in the third quarter as the Majors took advantage of a Viking slashing penalty to score. Millsaps won the third quarter 2-1 and trailed 12-4 after three. In the fourth, the Majors again scored while up a man, as Stevison cashed in on a Berry cross-checking penalty. Three late goals by the Vikings rounded out the scoring as the Vikings won 16-5. 

The Majors' regular season closes at 6-10 overall and 2-5 in conference. As of now, the Majors stand as the sixth seed, if those seeds hold, the Majors will head right back to Berry next weekend for the start of the SAA playoffs.
