BERRY, GA- The Millsaps men's cross country team finished fifth at the SAA Championships hosted by Berry College.

Ben Parva finished 14th overall, earning him an SAA-Honorable Mention for his efforts. Parva ran his 8k in a time of 27:24.50 and was the first finisher for the Majors.

Jared Allen finished next for Millsaps, earning 24th-place points with a time of 28:10.23. Ken Newburger was not far behind, his time of 28:24.54 earned a 29th-place finish in terms of points. Jarrett Mason finished in the pack of racers as well, earning 33rd-place points with a time of 28:57.16.

Mason narrowly beat out teammate Will Napier, the senior clocked in at 29:23.59 to earn 34th place points for Millsaps. Andrew Helton was hot on his trail, finishing 36th with a time of 29:45.68. Sam Martin rounded out the scoring for Millsaps, checking in with a time of 30:31.05 to earn 41st place points.

The Majors finished fifth overall, just behind Sewanee. This year's cross-country champion was Centre College, who earned the crown in both the men and women
