JACKSON- The Millsaps Majors women's lacrosse team jumped on the University of Dallas Crusaders early and rolled to a 24-2 win in the regular season finale for Millsaps. 

The Majors scored early and often against Dallas, controlling the pace, possession and score from the opening faceoff. 

The Majors led 16-1 at the half as they out shot the Crusaders 31-4 in the first half of play. JB Page led the scoring with three goals and six assists for nine first half points and finished with 13 for the game. Alex Morphew had four first half tallies, finishing with five goals and eight total points. Senior defender Victoria Wheeler scored her first goal as a Major midway through the first half of play. Madelyn Walker sticked aside three shots in the first half and picked up the win. Rebecca Goreham came in to play the second half in net and was also solid. 

The win moves the Majors to 7-5 on the season. They have locked up the three seed in the upcoming Southern Athletic Association tournament. As the three seed, they will host Oglethorpe for the second straight weekend. The winner of the game will travel to Sewanee to take on Centre who got a bye as the second seed. 

The opening round of the SAA tournament is set for Saturday, game times have not yet been determined.
