DEMOREST, GA- The Majors' women's lacrosse team dropped their second game of a back-to-back on Sunday, falling 21-5 to the Piedmont Lions.

The Lions broke the game open with a nine-goal run midway through the first half Jamie Blair Page broke the streak with a man-up goal. Piedmont led 13-3 at the break.

A six-goal onslaught by the Lions in the second half put the game out of reach for the Majors, who fell to 1-3 with the loss.

Page and Theresa Woehnker each had two goals for the Majors while Katie Iskra recorded the other tally. Madelyn Walker made 15 saves on 36 shots in the loss, also dropping to 1-3 on the season.Piedmont outshot Millsaps 45-16 including a 36-10 edge in shots on goal.

The Majors will look to rebound when they take on St. Marys of Indiana on March 11 in a game taking place at Rhodes College in Memphis.
