MEMPHIS, TN- On Wednesday, the Millsaps Majors used a big first half in a 17-4 victory over the Saint Mary's College Belles in a game hosted by Rhodes College. 

The Majors would strike early and often in the first half. JB Page scored about five minutes in as the Majors took a 1-0 lead. After a Belles' tally less than a minute later, the Majors erupted for seven unanswered goals to take an 8-1 lead. Katie Iskra scored three times during the run and scored four goals on the day.

Saint Mary's answered by scoring two of the next three goals to make it a 9-3 game before the Majors ended the half on another run. Page scored three times in a eight-minute span as part of a four-goal burst by the Majors to lead 13-3 after the opening half. 

Millsaps took their foot off the gas pedal in the second half scoring four of the half's five goals. Katie Iskra rounded out her scoring day and Adriana Lopez made it 15-3 with a strike off a Kendall Fann pass. Page would add her sixth goal of the game late to round out the scoring as the Majors picked up their second win of the season. 

Madelyn Walker was solid in net, stopping 8 of the 12 shots she saw in the win. The Majors out shot the Belles 34-17 and took 15 of the 23 draws on the day. 

The Majors will head to Alabama to take on LaGrange on Sunday. The game will be held at an athletic center in Vestavia Hills. Face-off is set for 3pm on Sunday.
