MEMPHIS- The Millsaps Majors lost another heart breaker on Saturday, falling 14-13 to the Rhodes Lynx in overtime. 

The Majors took the lead 13-12 with two minutes left to go in the second half when Kendall Fann scored with just over two minutes left. However, Rhodes would score with just four seconds left in the half, then again in overtime to win 14-13. 

Whitney Smith scored six goals for the Majors, who erased 2-0 and 3-1 Lynx leads in the first half with a four-goal string midway through the half. The two teams traded goals over a seven-minute stretch before Millsaps closed the half with two goals in the final two minutes of the half. Smith beat the buzzer, scoring her fifth goal of the first half with just three seconds remaining. The Majors led 9-6 at the half. 

The Lynx would rally, scoring four straight goals to start the second to lead 10-9. Smith and Katie Iskra scored to knot the game at 10 and 11 as the teams see-sawed back and forth in the second half, setting up the last-minute heroics. 

The loss drops the Majors to 3-5 overall and 2-2 in the SAA. Millsaps will be back at it on Sunday with their senior day as they take on Centre College. Opening draw is set for 4pm.
