BIRMINGHAM, AL- The Millsaps Majors fell in their SAA quarterfinal game to the Birmingham Southern Panthers 14-10 at Panther Stadium in Birmingham. 

Madelyn Walker made 14 saves against 28 shots for the Majors who were outshot by the Panthers 32-26 and 28-17 in shots on goal. 

Birmingham Southern scored the first three goals on Saturday, grabbing a 3-0 lead in the first 10 minutes of the game. Whitney Smith scored to break the run only to see BSC answer with three more unanswered goals to lead 6-1. Millsaps would regroup and rally in the latter stages of the half, ripping off three straight goals, two by Katie Iskra to make it 6-4 at the half. 

Kendall Fann made it a 6-5 ball game early in the second half but again, BSC rallied with a string of goals. This time it was a four-goal binge over nine minutes to make it a 10-5 contest. Anytime in the second half the Majors began to chip away, the Panthers answered with a multi-goal run. The teams traded two goal runs over the final 14 minutes with Jamie Blair Page scoring with 40 seconds left to round out the scoring. 

The Majors season ends with a 3-9 record.
