MT BERRY GA- The Millsaps Majors women's tennis team lost a tough match to the Berry Vikings 6-3 at the Richards Tennis Courts in nearby Rome, Georgia.

The Majors' top pair of Deena Li Kam Wa and Callie Creekmore would continue their impressive run of solid tennis. Creekmore, the reigning conference player of the week, rallied to win in three sets after getting blanked in the opening set. Li Kam Wa kept rolling, shuting out her opponent 6-0, 6-0 on court one. The two would team up to win the lone point in doubles as well, winning 8-3 on doubles' court one.

The Majors would fight valliantly but come up on the wrong end of the matches as Berry would hold on to win 6-3. The loss drops the Majors to 9-5 on the year and 2-3 in conference. They will host Sewanee next Saturday on the Coach Montgomery Courts.
