JACKSON- The Sewanee Tigers defeated the Millsaps Majors 8-1 in women's tennis on Saturday at Coach Montgomery Courts in Jackson.

Deena Li Kam Wa remained undefeated on the year in singles, grabbing the Majors' point with a stright set 6-2, 6-2 win on court one. The Tigers would fight past the Majors on the other five singles' courts.

In the doubles' portion of the match, The Tigers took two tough matches on courts one and two winning 8-5, 8-3 respectfully.

With the loss, the Majors drop to 9-6 on the season and 2-4 in conference play. They will wrap up conference play tomorrow against Centre starting at 9am on the Coach Montgomery Courts.
