Returned Bobby Bowden's (Samford University) punt 45 yards for a touchdown in 1951. Scored on a 46-yard return of a kick in 1952
Averaged 9 yards a carry over three years
Pitched "windmill style" (underhand) and defeated Delta State in 1954 by a score of 3-1
