WHAT THEY'RE SAYING

"Landry is one of the best encouragers on the team. He is upbeat, positive and always more concerned with others than himself."

– Head cross country coach Natalie Bach-Prather describing Landry Lemoine.

"Fran is the loudest encourager out there, of any team. Our best cheerleader with a very contagious attitude. Fran embodies the spirit of Millsaps cross country."

– Head cross country coach Natalie Bach-Prather describing Fran Edwards.

"Nick was our team captain this year and just having the opportunity to see his growth, from when I first came to Millsaps College to now, has been very special to see. Nick exemplifies true sportsmanship, hard work and leadership!"

– Head football coach Isaac Carter describing Nick Ojonta.

"Rob has been a pleasure to coach since my arrival on campus. He always played competitively against the opposition, while maintaining a collegiate and sportsmanlike demeanor. Rob is deserving of recognition for his performances as well as the positive impact he has on his teammates and the game."

Head men's soccer coach Warren Russ describing Rob van der Waal.

"Hannah is a great teammate that's always there for others on the field. She is a competitor who respects her opponents and demonstrates tremendous sportsmanship to student-athletes across the conference."

– Head women's soccer coach Dakota Rock describing Hannah Johnson.

"Hannah is an incredible teammate and competitor; she treats everyone she encounters whether it's during a match or off the court with fairness and kindness. She served as a captain this last year because her teammates trusted and respected her, and she goes above and beyond to show the same respect to others."

– Head volleyball coach Jaime Fisher describing Hannah Mattke.
