Freshman center Kalvin Spikes earns the Millsaps Major of the week after averaging 8.7 points and 9.3 rebounds in his first three games of the season after returning from injury. Spikes led the Majors in rebounding in each game, grabbing nine against UMHB and Louisiana College. He then pulled down a career high ten boards against Birmingham Southern. Spikes was 57 percent from the field in the three games.
