Marti-Vertiz had an outstanding week in which the Majors men's tennis team went 3-1. He was a perfect 3-0 in doubles play, and a perfect 3-0 in singles play as well. In their trip to Newport News, Virginia he picked up a pair of singles wins over opponents that were both ranked in the region.
