SUWANEE, Ga. – \#Wes Perkins\# of Millsaps College, a 6-1, 195-pound freshman right-hander from Geismar, La., has been selected the SCAC Baseball Pitcher-of-the-Week for games played from Monday, April 5 through Sunday, April 11.

Perkins tossed six innings in picking up a win against Southwestern at home during the week. He scattered just one hit in his six innings while yielding just one earned run (1.50 ERA) and struck out eight batters on the week.

Perkins becomes the second pitcher for the Majors to be honored with the weekly award as \#Boomer Hudson\# received the honor in Week 5.
