Majors welcome Ingraham, Interim Women's Lacrosse Coach

JACKSON, Miss. – Donnie Brooks, Millsaps Athletic director, and the Major Athletic program is pleased to announce the hiring of Kelsey Ingraham as the Interim Women's Lacrosse Coach.
 
The 2015 Millsaps graduate returns to coach the game she loves. As a Major, Ingraham played both defense and attack, starting in every game for the 2011-2015 seasons. Ingraham played in 46 games, scored 21 goals, recorded 15 assist, 88 ground balls, and was credited with 36 total points.
 
"Coming back to my alma mater is a great opportunity," said Ingraham. "I'm happy to take over this program and see it to new heights."
 
Off the field, Ingraham was named to the SAA Academic Honor Roll and received her degree in accounting.
 
Ingraham is a native of Greenwich, Conn. where she began playing lacrosse at the age of 8. While living in Greenwich, Ingraham coached and officiated the Greenwich Youth Lacrosse league.
 
She is the daughter of Helen Turvey Ingraham and the sister of Taylor, Colin, and Trevor. She currently resides in Jackson, Miss and is pursuing a master's in business administration at Millsaps College.
 
"It is always important to keep people around that know and understand the Millsaps culture and our athletic program," said athletic director Donnie Brooks. "We are happy to welcome Ingraham back and we know that she will do well in her new position."
