BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- The Millsaps College men's tennis team opened up Southern Athletic Association (SAA) play by dominating the Birmingham Southern College Panthers on Saturday.
Millsaps swept all three doubles' matches, and won five of the six singles' matches for an 8-1 victory.
The win improves the Majors' record to 5-0 on the season.

Jacob Niehaus breezed to identical 8-1 victories at doubles No. 2 and No. 3 respectively.
John Kimball and
Brandon Beck earned a hard-fought 8-6 win at the No. 1 spot to complete the doubles' sweep for Millsaps.
In singles play, Jackson picked up his second win of the afternoon with a 6-1, 6-0 victory at No. 6. Falk clinched the match win for the Majors with his 6-2, 6-2 win at No. 5.
Vaccaro won 6-3, 6-4 at No. 5, Niehaus took No. 3 by a 6-4, 6-2 score and Kimball scored a big three-set (6-2, 2-6, 10-6) win at No. 2.

What's Next?
Millsaps heads to Florida next week for their annual spring break trip. First up for the Majors is a match against Dickinson College on Monday, March 9.
