JACKSON, Miss. – The Millsaps men's and women's tennis teams was competitive in every set against Rhodes. However the women were stopped 6-3, while the men were bested, 7-2 at the Coach Montgomery Courts on Saturday. 
 
The Majors will be back in action on Sunday for Senior Day against Hendrix, beginning at 9 and 11 a.m. in Jackson, Miss. 
 
Women's Recap vs. Rhodes, 6-3, L 
 
On Saturday, graduate Camille Fremaux and senior Madison Williams came together as a duo to knock down their opponents in an 8-7 (8-6) tiebreaker victory on Court Two.  
 
Williams continued her winning ways by prevailing in Court Two singles with a 7-6 (8-6), 5-7, 1-0 (10-8) tie-breaking winner. 
 
Junior Mary Dabadie defeated her foe with a 7-6 (7-5), 6-2 victory on Court Four. 
 
Classmate Mackenzie Vordick gave everything she had in a 6-3, 6-3 tough loss to her challenger on Court Five.

Men's Recap vs. Rhodes, 7-2, L
 
The men's tennis team fell 7-2, but had strong matches in doubles as sophomore Carson Chassaignac and classmate Sam Tuli fell in a hard-fought 8-7 defeat with a 7-5 tiebreaker on Court One. 
 
Senior Jakub Bobinski and junior Anderson Dulaney escaped their opponents with an 8-6 win on Court Two. 
 
In singles, Tuli edged out his foe on Court Four, 7-5, 6-1 for the lone singles triumph. 
 
Chassaignac would go into a 7-6, 7-5 (6-4) tiebreaker match as his opposer would close out on Court One. Dulaney's set two was better with a 6-4 narrow loss on Court Two.
