Millsaps College Athletics

Freshman (2012/13): Competed in six events for the Majors as a true freshman.  Began his collegiate career at the Rhodes Collegiate where he posted a round of 80 for a T-65th finish.  Also competed in the SAA Preview (80, 76) for a T-25th finish, Chick-fil-a Collegiate (79, 78) for a T-69th finish, and the Millsaps Collegiate (81, 82) for a T-29th finish. Finished the year with a  81.60 freshman average for 10 rounds. Shot an 85 in the Millsaps/Meridian match for a T-10 finish. Ranked tied for third on the team in eagles made (1), led the team in puts per green in regulation (1.811). 

Coach’s Notes: “Carlitos is a great student-athlete.  He has a great balance between his golf game and academics.  He has shown that he can excel in the classroom and on the golf course.  Since his arrival to Millsaps, he has contributed to making his team much stronger and we expect him to continue his success for many years to come.”
