Biography
Freshman (2012/13): Competed in five events for the Majors as a true freshman. Has aided the 2012 freshman class at Millsaps to be ranked #16 in the nation (Golfstat.com). Played in his first collegiate tournament at the Rhodes Collegiate where he posted a round of 76 for a T-35th finish. Finished the year with a 79.25 freshman average for 8 rounds. Shot a 76 in the Millsaps/Meridian match for a T-3 finish. Ranked fourth on team in par-4 scoring (4.41), second on the team in par-5 scoring (5.13), fourth in fairways hit (65.2%).
Coach’s Notes: “Cody is a fierce competitor. He is always working hard at improving his golf game and it shows with his results and work ethic. We foresee him to be a major contributor to our men’s team for many years to come. He is very disciplined and has a very talented and well rounded golf game.”
