Freshman (2012/13):  Made All Tournament Teams in his first two tournaments of his collegiate career.  Appeared on the national rankings as the 11^th ranked DIII golfer in the nation, but ended the fall as the #4 ranked golfer in DIII.  His first collegiate event came at the Chick-fil-a Collegiate where Henry posted scores of 71, 71 to place T4th.  Was also the runner up at the Millsaps Collegiate where he posted rounds of 69 (first round leader), 73.   Along with Lewis Peters, Henry became the first Major to post a sub 70 score in over twenty years. Henry finished the year with a  77.50 freshman average for 16 rounds. Henry's round of 74 in the Millsaps/Meridian match was the best round of the day....Finished 16th at the Hal Sutton Intercollegiate (86,77)...Finished T-14 at the SAA Championships (76, 78). Was named to the 2013 SAA All-Sportsmanship team, as voted by coaches for his freshman year. Led the team in multiple categories:  scoring average (77.50) and pars per round (10.31). Other notable stats: second in fewest bogeys per round (4.5), second in greens in regulation (54.2%), second in par-3 greens in regulation (53.1%). 

Coach’s Notes: “Ryan is an extremely focused young man.  He is a hard worker who is always alert and ready to compete.  He has a world of talent and a lot of leadership skills that makes our overall team much stronger for years to come.  We anticipate Ryan to continue his success and achieve many honors as a Major.”
