Junior Season (Spring 2021): Tallied a time of 11.91 in the 100m at the Border Battle in April … Posted a time of 23.67 in the 200m at the BSC Hilltop in March … Marked a time of 56.63 in the 400m at the Rhodes 7-Way Meet in April. 

Sophomore Season (2019-20): Named to the SAA Academic Honor Roll ... He competed in both meets for the Majors in a season that was shortened by the CoVID-19 pandemic ... Posted a career-best 100 meter time of 11.65 (1.2) at the Mississippi College Season Opener ... Ran a season-best 200 meter time of 24.15 (-1.1) at the very same meet.

Freshman Season (2018-19): Cockrell competed in six meets for the Majors ... Posted a season best 100-meter dash time of 11.72 seconds at the Mississippi College Twilight Invitational in April ... Ran a career-best 200 time of 23.79 (1.4) seconds at the BSC Hilltop Classic in March. 

Prior to Millsaps: Lettered in cross country, soccer and football ... He also participated in powerlifting ... He won the Wolfpack Award and the Patel Award in 2018 (soccer) ... He was named the Most Improved Player in 2017 in soccer and the Most Improved Runner in 2017 in cross country ... His football team advanced to the third round of the state playoffs in both 2014. They advanced to the second round in 2015 ... He placed second overall at the state powerlifting meet in the 2014-15 season ... He placed 6th overall in the state cross country meet during the 2016-17 season and fourth overall in the 2017-18 season ... His soccer team advanced to the first round of the state playoffs in the 2017-18 season ... He was the Student Body President during the 2017-18 school year ... He was a member of the Mock Trial Team, the Beta Club, the President of the Technology Student Association, an Inspire PR Representative... He graduated fifth in his class.
