Biography
William Harding begins his third season with the Majors this year and competes in the High Jump and Javelin Throw. He is a native of New Albany and attended New Albany High School.
While attending New Albany High School, William was named the Most Valuable Runner for Cross Country 2011-12, 2012-13 and was a three-time All-Division selection (2011-13). He was also a Lindsey Callahan Scholar Athlete nominee and was a member of the National Honor Society.
His personal records, in the high jump - 5'10", Conference Meet, Rhodes and Javelin - 126 ft, Conference Meet, Rhodes. William's grandfather, Newt Harrison Sr. attended Millsaps as well. William is the son of Eric and Katherine Harding and has three siblings, Harrison, Amy, and Chelsey. He majors in biology here at Millsaps.
