Freshman (2012/13): Has made a big name for herself on the golf course since arriving to Millsaps. Leads the Lady Majors in every statistical category. Finished the fall semester as the #71 ranked golfer in DIII (Golfstat.com), finished the year ranked #45 according to NCAA Women's Golf. Set the school record for best freshman debut at the Piedmont Fall Invitational (79, 86) for a T17th place finish. Also posted the best single round score in over twenty years for Millsaps women’s golf, with a 73 at the Hal Sutton Intercollegiate and Jekyll Island Collegiate. She posted the first win in Millsaps women's golf history at the Hal Sutton Intercollegiate and the first hole in one at the Rhodes Invitational.
Coach’s Notes: “Lauren is a great competitor. She is one of the best ball strikers I have ever seen. From tee to green, she hardly ever gets into any trouble. She has a big drive to compete and improve. We fully expect Lauren to be a big success for our women’s team and look forward to watching her compete in the coming years.”
