Biography
Alexis Guice is from Monroe, Louisiana. She is in her junior year and is majoring in Biology and Spanish. She is a Ford Fellow as well as a participant in the Honors program. She is committed to service as well as academics participating in a medical mentorship in the Spring 2012 at Blair E. Batson. She was given the Sportsman’s Award for Track and Field in 2012 and has been a part of the SCAC Academic Honor roll for Winter 2010, Spring 2011, and Spring 2012. Her PR’s include Shotput: 12.33 m (record holder), Discus: 34.40 m, Hammer: 40.34 m (record holder), Weight: 13.99 m (record holder), and Javelin: 32.99 m (record holder).
