Martin Brent joined the Millsaps College Athletics Department as the Sports Information Assistant in August of 2022.
He oversees graphic design, photography, bios, roster maintenance, statistics, social media, video editing and more for 18 Millsaps College athletic programs.
A Columbia, Miss, native, Brent graduated from Belhaven University in the spring of 2020 with a bachelor’s degree in Sports Management. He also holds two certifications as a fitness trainer from the International Sports Science Association and welder from Hinds Community College.
During the spring of 2021, Brent spent the majority of his time working with high school student-athletes at Ridgeland High School in the weight room and was the assistant linebackers coach.
Brent's accomplishments include graduating from Belhaven University with a 3.1 GPA while finishing his senior spring semester on the Dean's List.
Brent competed for the Belhaven football team from 2017-19. He currently resides in Jackson.
