Jackson, Miss. – The Millsaps Basketball teams will host the SCAC/SAA Challenge this weekend at Hangar Dome. Four teams will be competing in the basketball tournament, Austin College, Centenary College, Hendrix College and Millsaps College.
The Majors are coming off a loss on the road to Belhaven on Wednesday night. Millsaps will be led by Kala-Jewel Freeman who posted a 25-10 double double and Brazia Jones and Katie Connor who also put up double digits in the loss to Belhaven.
Millsaps will open the weekend against SCAC opponent Austin College who lost in their only game of the season thus far to East Texas Baptist. On Sunday, Millsaps will face off against Centenary College. Centenary is undefeated on the year thus far, winning their only regular season game.
Tip off for the SCAC/SAA Challenge is at 1pm on Saturday. The first game played by Millsaps Woen's Basketball will be at 3pm on Saturday.
