DECATUR, Ga.. -- The Millsaps Women's Basketball (2-2) team travel to Decatur, Ga. and take down Agnes Scott in a blowout win, 64-40.

The Majors leapt out the gates quick in this game, playing lockdown D and limiting Agnes Scott to just 13 first half points. A big scoring third quarter where Millsaps outscored the opponent 25-12 extended an already large deficit and effectively put the game away.

Millsaps was led by senior Kala-Jewel Freeman with 16 points. Hot shooting from Caroline Guilbeau got her 12 points, all from the three point line. Millsaps forced many turnovers in this game, racking up 16 steals, led by Katie Connor with four steals and Brazia Jones with three steals. Kim Klunk led all rebounders with nine.
