MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Men's Basketball loses in the first game of the weekend tournament to Louisiana College, 70-50.

The Majors kept the game close all throughout the first half, clinging to only a two point deficit after 20 minutes. In the second half, Louisiana College pulled away in the second half, winning the half 41-23.

The Majors were again led in scoring by Sam Kohnke, whose hot three point shooting led him to 14 points on the evening. Brennan Gagen, the Majors leading scorer, again registering in double digits with 12 points on 4-11 shooting. Trent Markwith again showed off his all-around game, scoring six points, assisting on six shots, and getting six rebounds. Robert Gardner led all Majors off the bench with nine points.
