JACKSON, Miss. – The Millsaps Basketball teams will be traveling to Conway, Arkansas to compete in a tournament at Hendrix College against Rust College and Texas Lutheran University on Saturday and Sunday.

In the last weekend tournament they competed in, Millsaps dropped both games in Memphis, TN to Louisiana College and Bluffton. Brennan Gagen had a good weekend, averaging 14 points against the two opponents. 

Gagen is the Majors leading scorer on the year at  18.2 ppg. He's followed by sharpshooter Sam Kohnke at 10.2 ppg, who leads the Majors with 12 three pointers, shooting threes at a 40% rate on the year. Trent Markwith has also been a standout, averaging good all-around numbers with seven ppg, 7.2 rebounds per game, and 5.2 assists per game.

Millsaps will open the weekend against Rust College, a .500 team on the season, and will follow up the next day against a 3-2 Texas Lutheran team.
