JACKSON, Miss. -- The Millsaps Women's Basketball team will be hosting Rust College this weekend, Saturday at 3pm.
Last time we saw our Majors was against Loyola University(La.) on Monday, Nov. 28. Millsaps was led in that game by efficient nights from Katie Connor and Brazia Jones who both had 12 points.
The Majors will be led in this game by leading scorers, Kala-Jewel Freeman at 13.2 PPG and Brazia Jones at 11.4 PPG. Kim Klunk, Freeman, and Braxton Thomas have all been leaders on the glass for Millsaps, averaging over 5.6 rebounds a game. Katie Connor and Dajia Traylor-Craft off the bench lead the Majors in helpers averaging 2.4 assists a game.
