Box Score JACKSON, Miss. -- Millsaps Women's Basketball team wins over Centenary College on the road 58-46.
Millsaps picks up its second double digit win over Centenary on the year on the road this time. The Majors won decisively, only letting up in a tough offensive third quarter.Â
Another huge game from Kim Klunk and Kala-Jewel Freeman led the way for Millsaps. They both recorded double doubles, Klunk leading in points, rebounds, and blocks with 18, 15 and six. Freeman was right behind Klunk with 14 points, 13 rebounds, four blocks, four assists, and two steals. Balanced scoring and a collective rebounding effort from other Majors paced Millsaps, with Brazia Jones racking up six points,seven rebounds, and two blocks, Braxton Thomas putting up six points and six rebounds and Megan Donaldson scoring six points and three rebounds. Katie Connor also tied Freeman for the lead in assists and steals on the team with four assists and two steals.
