Women's Basketball hits the road to face off against Centenary College (Louisiana) for the second time this year.
Last time the Majors faced off against Centenary was during the SCAC/SAA Challenge hosted by Millsaps at home. Millsaps came out on top during that game 76-64 in a relatively easy victory. A big double double from starting center,
Kim Klunk led the Majors in that game. Klunk posted a 20 point, 12 rebound double double and was joined in double digits by
Brazia Jones with 12 and
Millicent Butler with 10 on efficient nights from both.
Millsaps will be led into this game by leading scorer, Kala-Jewel Freeman, who currently sits at 5th in the SAA standings in PPG at 13.5.
Brazia Jones is second on the team in scoring at 10.8 points per game. Guards
Katie Connor and
Dajia Traylor-Craft lead Majors in assists per game at 2.5 and 2.7 respectively.
