Box Score Danville, KY – The Millsaps Men's Basketball Team fell in their final game of the weekend to Centre by a score of 93-54.
 
Today's contest closed out the final road trip of the regular season for the Majors, as they return home next weekend for the final four home games.  Quinn Atkinson led the Majors with 25 points for today's contest while Brennan Gagen finished with 13. 
 
The Colonels tied a single-game school record with 19 made three-pointers.  With the effective shooting performance, Centre secured their 13th win of the year, fifth in SAA play.
 
Centre trailed once early in the contest, but Tucker Sine helped the Colonels by going 7-10 on three pointers.  In shooting totals, Centre finished 55% from the field and 54% on three pointers while the Majors finished 29% from the field and 40% on three pointers.
 
Atkinson led the Majors on 5-15 shooting from the field, 3-4 on three pointers and 12-15 on free throws.  Gagen finished 4-9 from the field, 1-3 on three pointers and 2-2 on free throws while also totaled three assists.
 
The Majors will look to rebound with the final series of home games starting next weekend.  Next up for Millsaps Men's Basketball is a matchup against Oglethorpe on Friday.
