Millsaps Women's Basketball will host the Berry Vikings and the Oglethorpe Stormy Petrels this weekend after winning two straight conference games in the past weekend.
Last year, Millsaps swept the home-and-away series against both Berry and Oglethorpe.
Kala-Jewel Freeman and
Kasi Matthews played a large role in victories against Berry last year. Both lead the Majors in scoring in their first matchup against Berry, putting up 16 points, seven rebounds and four assists a piece.
In the first matchup against Oglethorpe, Freeman scored in double figures, putting up 10 points and seven rebounds and Matthews chipped in eight points and four assists.
Last weekend,
Kala-Jewel Freeman reached the 1,000 point milestone mark of her career against Hendrix College on the road.
On the year, Freeman is third in scoring, third in field goal percentage, seventh in rebounding and ninth in blocked shots per game in the SAA rankings.
Kim Klunk and Brazia Jones are in the top ten in the SAA in field goal percentage. Klunk recently moved up to top five in rebounding and is third in blocks per game.
Katie Connor is sixth in the SAA in steals and second in assists per game. Jones is also fourth in steals per game.
Megan Donaldson is seventh in the conference in three point percentage.
