Men's Basketball will host the Sewanee Tigers and Centre Colonels this weekend at home. The Majors will seek to improve upon their ranking in the SAA standings against the two top ranked teams in the SAA thus far in Sewanee and Centre. Last weekend Millsaps went 0-2 in their home stand against Oglethorpe and Berry.

In their last meetings last year, the Majors split the two matchups with Sewanee and dropped both games against Centre. 

In their first matchup with Sewanee last year, Millsaps came on top in a thriller 70-69. Brennan Gagen was a big factor in the clutch win against Sewanee, putting up 17 points and three assists on a perfect shooting night, 6-6 from the field and 4-4 from the free throw line. 

When they faced off with Centre, Wade Mason provided a spark off the bench with 10 points in a close loss.

Brennan Gagen still remains in the top ten in scoring in the SAA at 13.2 points per game. Sam Kohnke has recently surged up the charts in scoring, now ranking at 13th in SAA play at 11.3 points per game.Sam Kohnke is seventh in the conference in three point makes per game at 2.2 a game and second in steals at 2.5 steals per game. Gagen is ninth in the conference in assists at 3.3 apg. Zachary Tullos sits at fifth in the SAA in blocks, averaging one per game.
