Box Score DANVILLE, Ky. -- Men's Basketball loses to Centre on the road, 85-63. This loss drops Millsaps to 4-16 on the year and 1-8 in the conference.
In the first half, the Majors struggled. They only shot 20% from the field and turned the ball over nine times, resulting in a 14 point half to Centre's 38. The second half was much more evenly matched, the Majors rebounded to shoot over 50% from the field and score 49 points, including 32 points off the bench.Â
Individually, Millsaps was led by
James Turner off the bench in scoring with 12 points, six rebounds and three assists on 5-12 shooting from the field.
Sam Kohnke joined him in double digits, with 11 points, five rebounds and two assists.
Brennan Gagen, Turner,
Daniel Coleman, and
Johnathan Manning all hit two three pointers in this game. As a team, the Majors assisted on half of their made field goals, with 13 assists and 25 field goals made. Coleman, Manning,
Logan Mancuso,
Saxton Becker,
Wade Mason, and
Derrick Burt all came off the bench to contribute to Millsaps' 38 bench points.
