Box Score DANVILLE, Ky. -- Millsaps Women's Basketball drops a game to Centre on the road, 56-52. This loss drops the Majors to 13-7 overall and 6-3 in conference play. 

Millsaps got off to a tough start early, turning the ball over eight times in the first half and only scoring 22 points to Centre's 26. In the second half, the Majors matched Centre 30-30 but ultimately was unable to make up the four point difference from the first half and fell to the Colonels on the road.

Individually, Kala-Jewel Freeman led all scorers with 18 points, eight rebounds, two assists and two steals. Kim Klunk led all Majors in rebounding with 10 boards, seven points, four steals and two blocks. Brazia Jones came off the bench to contribute seven points and Megan Donaldson hit two of three 3-pointers off the bench. As a team, the Majors shot poorly from three, only making 3-10 from downtown and turned the ball over 17 times to only six assists. 

This loss drops the Majors down to third in the SAA behind Oglethorpe and Birmingham-Southern who have 6-2 and 8-0 records in conference play respectively.

Millsaps Women's Basketball will next be in action next week in their last home games of the year against Hendrix on Friday and Rhodes on Sunday.
