DANVILLE, Ky. – MIllsaps traveled to Centre for the quarterfinal round of the SAA Tournament and fell 6-0 to the Colonels.

Molly Ambrose (Pensacola, Fla.) and Grayston Barron (Little Rock, Ark.) both finished with one shot on goal for the Majors.

Centre got the goal scoring started early with their first coming in the 3rd minute of the match. Millsaps was able to lock down on defense and not allow Centre to score for the rest of the first half. The Majors did have a chance to tie the game in the 30th minute, Barron had a shot on goal but it was saved by the keeper to bring the 1-0 Centre lead into halftime.

Centre came out of the locker room with a renewed energy and proceeded to outscore the Majors 5-0 in the second half. Millsaps had their second scoring chance in the 77th minute, But Ambrose's penalty kick was saved.

Senior goalkeeper Olivia Gattuso (Memphis, Tenn.) finished the match with 12 saves.

The match marked the final career games for Gattuso, Ambrose, Lindsay Redhead (Baton Rouge, La.), Kayleigh Sims (Randolph, Miss.) and Jamesia Kenney (Meredian, Miss.).
