Box Score BIRMINGHAM, AL. -- Millsaps Men's Basketball loses to Birmingham-Southern in their regular season finale, 74-58.

This loss ends the regular season for the Majors at 4-21 overall and 1-13 in conference. They will hit the road to Memphis for the SAA Conference Championship tournament hosted by Rhodes next. As the eighth seed in the tournament, they will face one seeded Rhodes in the first round.

After playing BSC to a tie in the first half, Birmingham-Southern pulled away in the second half and the Majors fell by double digits.

Saxton Becker and Buck Blanz had big games for the Majors, with Becker putting up 16 points on 6-10 shooting and Blanz putting up 15 points on 6-10 shooting. Sam Kohnke led all majors wth three assists and a steal. Daniel Coleman came off the bench to hit two threes and Brennan Gagen came off the bench to score five points.

Millsaps will next be in action in the SAA Conference Tournament against top-seeded Rhodes.
