The Southern Athletic Association announced the 2016-17 Men's All-Conference award winners in a press release earlier today.
Senior
Brennan Gagen and Junior
Sam Kohnke highlight the All-Conference Selections for the Majors. Both players received All-Conference Honorable Mention for their performances during the 2016-2017 regular season.

Gagen and Kohnke have been two of the Majors biggest contributors on this season. For the season, Brennan averaged 12.2 points per game, three assists per game, and was adept at getting to the free throw line, attempting a conference high 132 free throws on the season. Brennan ranked tenth in points and ninth in assists, while also sporting the third best free throw percentage in the SAA.
Kohnke, in his first season with the Majors, put up averages of 10.9 points per game, 2.1 steals per game, 3.3 assists per game while hitting over two three point field goals per game. Sam was sixth in the conference with 50 made threes on the year while shooting at a 33.6% clip and also was second in the conference with 50 steals for the season.
This is the first time earning All-Conference honors for both Sam and Brennan.
As the eighth seed in the SAA Conference Championships, Kohnke and Gagen will look to upset the top-ranked Rhodes College at 1pm on Friday, February 24th.
