JACKSON, Miss. -- Millsaps Women's Basketball will hit the road to rematch Berry and Oglethorpe this weekend. These games will serve as a big conference games for the Majors, after going 2-0 last weekend and rising to tie Birmingham-Southern for #1 in the conference. 

Millsaps currently stands at 15-7 overall and 8-3 in conference, good for tops in the SAA alongisde BSC. This upcoming weekend they face off against Oglethorpe, who is currently the third seed sitting behind BSC and Millsaps at 7-4 in conference. This second meeting against Oglethorpe will have significant meaning in the conference competition for the regular season championship.

In their last meeting, Millsaps lost to Oglethorpe at home 49-61. In that game, the Majors were led by senior, Kala-Jewel Freeman who had 19 points, ten rebounds and two blocks in the game. Millsaps shot 28% from the field in the first meeting and will seek to improve upon that in this second meeting.

In their last meeting with Berry, the Majors came out on top at home, 62-48. A balanced effort, led by Freeman and Kim Klunk with 13 points a piece secured the conference victory over the Vikings. The Vikings are currently 9-13 overall and 3-8 in the conference.
