Game 1
Millsaps (9-11, 1-3 SAA) saw its first three hitters in the 10

Andy Page (Warrenton, Va.) delivered an RBI single to center before sophomore
Connor Woodall (Madison, Miss.) dropped down a bunt that scored a third run.
Junior
Jacob Mardick (The Woodlands, Texas) then retired the side in order in the bottom of the 10
th to claim his fourth win of the season. He came in during the sixth and went 4.1 innings without allowing a run, giving up four hits and a pair of walks while striking out six.
Millsaps went up early in the contest, getting a sac fly from senior
Lee Ogletree (Raymond, Miss.) and an RBI single from junior
Chase Callaway (Brandon, Miss.) in the first. Rhodes (9-12, 3-2 SAA) tied things up with two in the third and then took the lead in the fourth, with the big blow a two-out, two-run double by Paul Giacomazzi that made it 5-2.
Two-run innings by the Majors in the fifth and sixth put Millsaps back on top, with Ogletree swatting a two-run double in the fifth to bring the Majors within a run at 5-4. In the sixth Fondren led off with his first home run of the season, with Page later singling, stealing both second and third and then scoring on a wild pitch to put Millsaps on top.
Rhodes came back to tie it in the bottom half of the inning on an RBI double by Jon Michael Lauck, but Mardick came in and held the Lynx in check the rest of the way. Page had four hits in five trips for Millsaps, scoring three runs. Ogletree drove in three for the Majors.
Game 2
Rhodes scored all the runs that it would need in the second, putting up seven on the board. With one down the Lynx got a pair of hits and a walk off Millsaps' starter, junior
Daniel Adams (Union Springs, Ala.) to load the bases. Adams gave up another walk to bring in the first run, with Giacomazzi doubling home two more and Brady John singling in another pair that chased Adams. The Lynx picked up another RBI single and double in the inning to make it 7-0.
Rhodes added another run in the third on a Jake Medich home run before Millsaps started its comeback attempt. In the fourth Fondren smacked his second round tripper of the day to put the Majors on the board. In the fifth they took advantage of a passed ball and an error to plate two more to make it 8-3. In the sixth Ogletree led off with a home run to make it a four-run contest. After a single and a walk put two on, sophomore
Brennan Ducote (Lafayette, La.) delivered a pinch-hit, RBI single to make it 8-5. A sacrifice by senior
Joseph Stearns (Cypress, Texas) put runners on second and third, with a wild pitch then scoring Calloway to make it a two-run game.
In the seventh Jackson Lourie came in to save it for Rhodes. He gave up a one-out walk to Ogletree, but coaxed a double-play ball from the next hitter to end it, picking up his third save of the season. The third pitcher of the day for Millsaps, senior
Zack Borne (Denham Springs, La.) came out of the bullpen and gave the Majors a chance for the comeback, holding Rhodes to just one hit, the Medich home run, over four innings while striking out three.
Millsaps and Rhodes will close out the SAA series with a single game tomorrow starting at Noon.
