The Millsaps College volleyball team will in Mount Berry, Ga. this weekend for the SAA tournament. The Majors enter the tournament as the #6 seed and will face off with the #3 seed, Hendrix, today at 7:00. Season In Review
The Majors started the 2018 season with back-to-back weekends of non-conference tournaments. After going 1-3 at the Austin College Classic in Texas, the Majors rebounded and went 4-0 at home in the Millsaps/Belhaven Invitational, only dropping one set in the process.
Conference play was not as kind to the Majors, who dropped their first 4 SAA matchups before picking up a road win against Oglethorpe. Millsaps also knocked off Rhodes, on the road, and Oglethorpe at home to end their SAA slate at 3-11. After beating Oglethorpe, the Majors knocked off Belhaven at home and Loyola-New Orleans on the road to end their regular season on a 3-game win streak.
Offensively, the Majors are the only team in the SAA to have 3 players in the top 10 in kills as

th, respectively. Bennett also ranks 5

Gracie Bellnap's 436 assists is tops on the team and puts her at 7
th in the conference.
Defensively, the Majors are led by libero
Payton Passantino. Her 469 digs and 5.33 digs/set puts her at 4

rdin the SAA, respectively. The Majors also rank 3
rd in the conference with 17.00 digs/set. Vincent leads the front line of the Majors, totaling 58 assisted blocks and 65 total blocks on the season.
Hendrix College (19-7, 10-4 SAA)
The Warriors were 2-0 against the Majors this season, taking them down 3-0 each time.
Impact Players for Hendrix
- Lauren Dwyer-Dwyer only had 10 kills in the two matches against Millsaps, but on the season, she led the Warriors with 277 kills, which ranked her t-3rdin the SAA.
- Claire Smith-Smith's 461 assists was tops for the Warriors and ranked her 4thoverall in the conference.
- Amber Melcher-Right behind Smith in the assists category is Melcher, whose 453 assists puts her just behind Smith in the conference at 5th.
- Carty Mallory-at 6'2", Mallory is a force in the front line for Hendrix. Her 72 total blocks was first on the Warriors squad and ranked 4thin the SAA.
