JACKSON, Miss. – Tomorrow at 3:00, the Millsaps College men's basketball team will host Birmingham Southern in their final home game of the 2017-2018 season.

Before the game, the team will recognize their lone senior, Sam Kohnke. Kohnke is a 6'4 guard from Isidore Newman School in New Orleans, Louisiana, and is averaging 24.7 minutes a game for the Majors. He has started 15 games, and is third on the team in made three pointers with 30. Earlier this year he scored a season-high 18 points in a loss to Howard Payne.

Last weekend, Millsaps split their final two SAA road games against Rhodes College and Hendrix College. Millsaps lost 111-104 to Rhodes last Friday night, getting outscored 57-49 in the second half. She'Chem Grant led Millsaps in scoring with 20 points.

Two days later, Millsaps defeated Hendrix College 78-73. Millsaps led by 12 at halftime and held on for a seven-point win. Michael Sullivan led Millsaps in scoring with 19 points.

Earlier this season, Millsaps lost on the road to Birmingham Southern by a score of 81-58. BSC enters this game with an overall record of 10-14, and they are currently ranked fourth in the SAA.

The Majors enter their final game before the SAA tournament with an overall record of 8-16, and they currently rank sixth in the SAA.
