JACKSON, Miss.--After averaging 19 points and 7.7 rebounds per game in the Majors 3-0 week, sophomore Dia Fortenberry has been named the SAA Women's Basketball Player of the Week. 

In the Majors win over Berry, Fortenberry came away with a double-double, dropping 19 points and grabbing 11 rebounds while making 54.5 percent of her shot attempts. 

She then followed up that performance with 29 points against Oglethorpe, which was the highest total OU has given up to any player this season. She also finished with 7 rebounds against the Stormy Petrels while making 53.8 percent of her shots.
