JEKYLL ISLAND, Ga. -- The Millsaps College men's golf team capped off their spring break by participating in the 2019 Jekyll Island Collegiate Invitational at Pine Lake Golf Club.
The Majors finished 29th in the tournament that was won by Emory University.Â
Eli Freeman was the high finisher for Millsaps. He was +18 with a three-day total of 234.
Paul Sweeney and
Matthew Hendrickson were separated by just three strokes. Sweeney finished with a 246 while Hendrickson ended with a 249.
Mills McClendon and
Michael Mathes Hughes rounded out the tournament for the Majors with identical three-round totals of 252.
What's Next?
Millsaps will have some time off from tournament play. They will be back on the course April 15-16 when they travel to Memphis for the Rhodes Spring Collegiate Classic at Windyke Country Club.
