Junior Posted Career Lows in Second Competition of Fall

CANTON, Ga. — Millsaps men's golf junior Miles Harrison excelled at the John Nellermoe Classic and was named the Southern Athletic Association Men's Golf Co-Athlete of the Week on Wednesday.

He tied for second after three rounds at the Starcke Park Golf Course, Monday and Tuesday. Harrison set a personal-best spot on the leaderboard and 54-hole score low, carding a 2-under 214 (70-73-71) with 13 birdies. The 70 he shot in the first round tied his all-time collegiate low round as well.

Harrison shares the SAA weekly honor with Southwestern University's Tyler Rosson, who also tied for second at the John Nellermoe Classic.

The Millsaps men's golf team next competes at the Carla Spenkoch Invitational, Oct. 12-13 in San Antonio, Texas.
