MONTEVALLO, Ala. -- The Millsaps College swimming and diving team returned to Alabama on Saturday afternoon for a meet against the University of Montevallo Falcons.
The Falcons are a NCAA Division II member of the Gulf South Conference.
The Majors had several strong individual showings, but unfortunately the Falcons scored wins on both the men's and women's sides.
Notable Finishes
Alden Macomber led the way with wins in both the 100-yard breaststroke and the 200-yard individual medley.
Cooper Clevenger, with a time of 1:56.23 in the 200-yard freestyle, also brought home a win for Millsaps.
On the women's side, freshman
Olivia Baldwin scored a victory in the 200-yard individual medley. Additionally, the 200-yard freestyle relay team of Baldwin,
Ronny DeFelicibus,
Lily Dorian and
Ashley Wilson also placed first in their race.
Haley Green posted a season-best time of 1:22.22 in the 100-yard freestyle, and on the men's side
Trevor Galicki improved his 100-yard freestyle time by nearly two seconds.
What's Next?
The Majors will travel to Hendrix College next weekend for the final regular season meet of the season. Saturday's meet will begin at 1:00 p.m.
